The Happy Prince Illustration and Book Cover Design

An illustration program project. The illustration for the cover of the classic story by Oscar Wilde was hand painted in watercolour, then rendered digitally in the projected cover layout. It captures the heart-breaking and gentle moment of the prince and the swallow as the loving bird lay dying.
