
Oxford English Dictionary, the 3rd Edition, branding project
An ECUAD/BCIT design program project for the imagined “3rd edition” launch of the Oxford English Dictionary. (The OED 3rd edition is a real-world endeavour, not yet complete). While the project is notional, the design proposals are intended to reflect the quality and prestige of this important publication. In particular, they seek to grapple with the conceptual challenges of an English language dictionary – the momentary stillness of an organic and ceaseless infinity.
